Saratoga Springs ️NY
Commander Cody has been making music for decades. He and his Lost Planet Airmen were at the crux of the American Roots Music movement and made the Rolling Stone's list of top 100 bands of all time. But past the boogie woogie, swing, country and rock is another side to the Old Commander:
George Frayne, the visual artist.

He earned a masters degree in sculpture and painting from the University of Michigan. His work has shown from London to Tokyo, and in museums including MOMA, The Museum of Natural History, Saratoga Auto Museum and The Director's Guild in Hollywood. He has been published numerous times in books such as Star Making Machinery, Musicians as Artist, Rockin' Garages and in Starart along with Joni Mitchell, Ron Wood, Claus Voorman plus a few other very talented contemporaries.

Recently George authored his own colorful table top book called Art Music and Life.
His quote on the cover sums it up well:
"I have been painting for a long time.
I have been rocking for almost as long. The tales of adventures in both cases run together and in some cases intersect. Here are the stories and the art of these moments."
